It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend, Beatrice "Bea" Viola Devine. Bea was born in Moorehead, Minnesota on April 18th, 1934, to late parents Olive Viola Larson Hagen and Alvin Justin Hagen. She passed peacefully in her sleep on October 14th, 2024, in Chimacum, Washington, at the age of 90.
A proud mother of five, grandmother to thirteen and great-grandmother to twenty-one, she found her greatest joy in the love of her family. Known for her silly, sweet spirit, she was always up for an adventure, bringing warmth, laughter, and boundless affection to all who knew her. Bea dedicated her life to her family, pouring her heart into every gathering and celebration- big or small. She had an extraordinary gift for making each one of us feel special, often showing us the importance of generosity and compassion.
When she married Ronald Devine, it was only fitting that she became "Bea Devine"-and oh, so divine she truly was! She lived her life devoted to her children and grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them. Her legacy of kindness, humor, and love will forever be carried on by those who loved her.
Bea is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Ronald Devine; sons, Michael and Randy Devine; sisters, Ruth Hagen and Jeanette Solberg; brother, Russell Hagen; granddaughter, Denise Devine; great grandson, Zach Devine; and great granddaughter, Annabelle Burney. We take comfort in knowing that many angels will be there to greet her, surrounding her with love once again..
Bea is survived by her children: Ron (Deanne) Devine, Larry (Katie) Devine, Dave Devine, and her daughter Dakota Debra Manix (Bruce) whom she resided with; Sisters: Margaret Jaeger and Helen Conrad, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces/nephews, extended family, and friends. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends who will continue to honor her life by keeping her adventurous, loving spirit alive.
