Cristina Teresa Fitzpatrick, 10/20/1960 – 12/07/2024

Cristina Teresa Fitzpatrick of Kingston, Washington lost her bravely fought battle with liver cancer on December 7, 2024. Born on October 20, 1960, Cristina was known for her love of family, caring nature and a true friend. Cristina leaves behind her beloved husband Peter Evans, her daughters Madeline Evans, Kim Smith, and Amanda Thompson along with grandson Parker Thompson and father, Vincent Fitzpatrick.

Cristina was the oldest of 8 and leaves a hole as the cornerstone curator of the extended family. Sisters, Maureen Mitchell, Sheila Fitzpatrick, Angela Michalak, Amy Fitzpatrick, Rachel Fitzpatrick, Jen Fitzpatrick and sister-in-law, Shannon White (Fitzpatrick) widow of brother Michael. Numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and many lifelong friends who became family to her.

Welcoming Cristina are her mother Maria and brother Michael.

Cristina graduated from Humboldt State University with a Psychology degree. Dutiful mother to Madeline. Her family remembers her as the proxy matriarch after Maria’s early death to a similar cancer. Cris was the keeper of all things family related and loved being a hub amongst the siblings. A graceful caregiver and friend who loved surprising people with her delightful care packages.

Cristina loved reading books, going to movies, attending music concerts, collecting dragon figurines, going to comedy and dancing to music. Cristina will be remembered by all who knew her as a true angel on earth. Always giving of herself ensuring all received care. Her final advice came as a reminder from her mom, “Family first, Be kind and work it out.”

FYI, Cris wished to be cremated and her remains will later be taken to the Pacific for final resting place.
