Geraldine Irene McLean-Moore
November 25, 1931 – September 18, 2023
Geraldine “Jeri” Irene McLean-Moore of Quilcene, Washington died peacefully in her home in Quilcene, WA. She was 91 years old, just shy of 92 years old. Mrs. Moore was born to Charles McLean and Ada Marie (Nelson) McLean in Burlington, WA and grew up in Sekiu, WA.
Jeri Moore was many things in life, becoming a beautician, a school bus driver, and most importantly, a mother and wife.
On February 23, 1957, she was married to the love of her life, Richard Allen Moore, in Port Angeles, WA; eventually becoming a widow in 2007.
Jeri was a lover of gardening, watching the Mariners, reading a good book by the fireplace with a cup of coffee, traveling with her late husband, spending time with her family, and being a part of the OK Sams Recreational Club and enjoyed going to her local church.
Survivors of Geraldine Moore include her sons, Jim Doss of Forks, and Ricky Moore of Shelton; daughters, Sally (Mike) Doig of Shelton, Tami (Joe) Ruby of Chimacum; sister, Aileen Corley of Auburn; two granddaughters, Stefanie Doig-Tratnick of Shelton, and Joelle Ruby of Port Hadlock; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
“There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in our hearts, as you’ve always been there for us, we had many years of happiness with you.”
There will be a Celebration of Life on November 25, 2023, at 1:00pm at 293496 HWY 101 N, Quilcene, WA 98376. Family and friends are invited to share memories of Jeri and sign the online guestbook.
