Gladys Marie Sewell

Gladys "Marie" Sewell, 89, passed away quietly after a short illness on October 14, 2023 in Port Townsend, Washington. She was born on April 3, 1934 in San Diego, California to Harley Eugene and Juanita Marie (Chadwick) Mitchell.

She was pre deceased by husband Gordon; son Steven; and great-grandson Seth Hempker. She left behind 5 daughters; and was blessed with 11 grand kids; 15 great-grand kids; and 4 great-great-grand kids. She was an awesome mother who was always there when we needed her, she also had many friends and was a well-known member of the community and of the LDS church. Everybody who knew her was touched by her kindness and willingness to give. She will be terribly missed by all.

There will be a funeral service for Gladys on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chimacum, WA. The relief room will be open for friends to visit with the family at 10:00am. There will be a Graveside Service following at Redmen's Cemetery in Port Townsend, WA.
