Herb Cook, lifelong Brinnon resident, passed away April 18, 2021 at home. Herb was the eldest of Red and Johnny Cook's children. His parents preceded him in death. He is survived by sisters, Fay Beck of Brinnon and Hazel Munday of Walker Mountain along with various nephews and nieces. Herb was born May 22, 1948 and raised on the Cook place on Walker Mountain. Herb was a Vietnam Veteran and a lifelong faller in the timber industry who worked in this area and also a long time in Forks and Granite Falls. Herb was an avid hunter and fisherman often traveling to Oregon with his friends after that epic "muley". He will be missed by many in the towns of Brinnon and Quilcene. At his request, there will be no services. Raise a Rainier to him, fellas.
