James Arthur Snyder Sequim, Washington September 12, 1938 - July 2, 2021 James Arthur Snyder, 82, passed away July 2, 2021 at the Sequim Nursing Home, Sequim, Washington. The son of Arthur Lee Snyder and Dana Francis (Robinson) Snyder, Jim was born in Helena, Montana. He is survived by his wife, Paula, of Sequim, Washington, a brother, Bruce Snyder, of Texas, and a sister, Sandra Rooks, of Port Ludlow, Washington. Jim completed his education at Lavern College in California, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Education. He joined the U.S. Navy and was stationed on the U.S.S. Rochester out of San Diego, California. Jim retired as a Civil Service employee from the Puget Sound Naval shipyard. Jim learned to play the guitar at an early age and had been involved with music all of his life. He belonged to a men's musical group in Port Angeles and also the First Presbyterian Church in Port Angeles, where he served as an elder and was on the church choir for several years. Jim and his wife took numerous cruises to Alaska and Hawaii. Jim loved to be with people, and he loved the Lord.
