Joan Carole Bender

Joan Carole Bender April 7th, 1941 – November 3rd, 2020 Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Daughter passed away on November 3rd, 2020. She is survived by Lynn Alan Bender Husband of 59 years, Sons Floyd Alan Bender (Kelli) and William Howard Bender (Ricci), five Grandchildren, two Great Grandchildren, Sister Jean Dixon (Clarence) and numerous friends and acquaintances. Joan was preceded in death by her parents Floyd Mason and Alicegene Carver and precious infant Daughter Linda Jean Bender. Joan’s greatest joy was her family whom she loved with all of her heart. She was a woman of faith and we celebrate her new life with our Heavenly Father. A memorial will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Port Townsend, Washington at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Seattle Children’s Hospital in her Honor. Seattle Children’s Hospital cured Joan’s Great Grandson of childhood cancer.
