Katherine Brindle Larkin passed away on April 29, 2022, in Port Townsend. Kathy was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Born in Seattle, Washington to Katherine Larsen Brindle and Donald D. Brindle, Kathy was the second of three children, with her siblings Vollea and Donald D. Junior. Kathy attended St. Alphonsus Parish School, graduated from Forest Ridge High school in 1958, attended Seattle University and University of Washington, and earned her Master’s degree from Portland State University. Married in 1961, she is survived by her husband, Mike Larkin; her four children: Mike Jr., Kevin, Mary, and Jennifer; her five grandchildren: Maddie, Jack, Teddy, Aidan and Kieran; and her sister, Vollea. Kathy was a successful real estate broker. She prized education and she was a natural teacher. Her true vocation was to her family. She will be remembered for her loyalty to her family and friends. Her strength, humor, faith and sense of adventure will be missed. A Funeral Mass celebrating her life will be held at 11 am on Thursday, May 12 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 630 7th Avenue North, Edmonds. Interment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, 205 NE 205th St., Shoreline. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA) | Reducing Poverty in America or the charity of your choice.
