Kenneth W. “Duke” Stevens 56 years old of Brinnon, Washington. Passed away October 10, 2021, at the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA. Ken was born in Ithaca, New York on October 13, 1964. He is pre-deceased by his father, Wayne Kenneth Stevens. And survived by: His mother Lynne Doria-Stevens Siddell, Verona, NY, formerly from Lansing, NY. Ken’s wife, his absolute best friend, soul mate, and "sweetsie" Tina Boylan Stevens of Brinnon, WA. His brothers Kristopher Stevens of Lansing, NY. Stephen (Jan) Stevens and nephews Patrick and Parmie of Verona, NY formerly from Lansing, NY. Ken's two stepdaughters, Chelsea (Justin) Dame of Seabeck, WA and Danielle (Mason) Davies of Eugene, OR. His grandchildren are Marley and Rylee Denney and Lyric and Aberdeen Davies. His father and mother in law C. Michael and Marion Boylan of Brinnon, WA, sister in law Tammy (Chris) Hicks of Bremerton, WA. Ken’s beloved pets are his dog Sasha and the newest addition to the family his kitten that he named Blackjack, also known as the Black devil. Ken was a resident of Trumansburg, New York until 2020. He is a 1982 graduate of Charles O. Dickerson high school and for 20 years was employed at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Snowmobiling, NASCAR, the Miami Dolphins, classic rock and roll music, Ford cars are some of Duke’s favorite things as well as his classic car a 1967 Oldsmobile 442. Ken really enjoyed gatherings of family and friends, most recently at his home on the Dosewallips River and back in Trumansburg at the cabin he and his wife built. The cabin always guaranteed “An Ass slapping good time.” In lieu of flowers, there is a Memorial Fund set up through Go Fund Me (https://gofund.me/9f673f55) Donations can be made to the ASPCA on behalf of Ken.
