Richard Huffman

Richard Huffman, born on December 7, 1963, in the picturesque city of Bremerton, Washington, departed from this world on January 24, 2025, in the quaint town of Port Townsend. He was a man of many trades, a true jack of all, spending the last 17 years as a fuel station attendant, where he graced the lives of customers and coworkers alike with his warm presence and unyielding kindness.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Richard will forever cherish the memory of his radiant smile—a smile so contagious that it had the remarkable power to light up any room. His beloved wife, Rebecca Huffman, recalls how his smile was a beacon of joy in their life together, an unshakeable reminder of their enduring love over their 17 years of marriage.

Richard possessed a big heart, one that overflowed with love for his children. It was his proudest accomplishment to be a father, pouring his affection into each of his sons—Liam, Charles, Killian, Zack, Adrian, and Cody—as well as his cherished daughter, Destiny Fleming. To his grandchildren, including little Derec Fleming, he has left a legacy that will linger in the hearts of those who knew the extraordinary man he was, even if they never got the chance to experience it firsthand.

He held dear the company of family, including his brothers Jimmy, James, and Donny, his sisters Jo Baggett, Tina Early, JoAnn Beard, and Cassy Fletcher, as well as his father, Rick Beard.
