Michael Preston Ryan

Mike was born and raised in Port Townsend, Washington by his parents Rene A. Ryan Jr. and Joyce M. Ryan (Minnihan). He left Jefferson County to join the US Navy, but returned home to be close to family. He married Peggy Guthrie and they had a daughter (Meagan). Mike loved to work on his hot rods and ride his motorcycles. He enjoyed his long career working in the maintenance department for the Port Townsend School District, but he enjoyed the adventures and experiences created during retirement even more. Mike loved spending time at his remote property in Eastern Washington and spending time with his beloved granddaughter Luna. Mike had some recent health issues and ultimately took his own life. He is survived by the love of his life Denise Larson; sisters, Janice Rosbach (Ryan), Brenda Ryan; brother, Gregory Ryan; daughter, Meagan Ryan (Trevor Manners); step-children, Clarice Reandeau and Brandon Reandeau; and his granddaughter, Luna Manners. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Highway Twenty Roadhouse in Port Townsend at noon Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022. Please bring your stories and memories.
