Naomi Jean (Hollingshead) Wolff, 84, of Port Townsend, Washington, passed away Friday, June 19, 2020, at her home. She was born December 28, 1935 in Glendale, California, to parents Harry Robert Hollingshead and Naomi Claire (Daggett) Hollingshead, both deceased. She was raised in Montebello, California, graduated from Montebello High School and attended L.I.F.E. Bible College in Los Angeles, California. Naomi Jean devoted her life to raising her three children, instilling within them a love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Then, in 1980, in response to her divine calling, she received a Ministerial License to Preach from the Southern California District of the Assemblies of God. In 1983, she was ordained for ministry by the General Council of the Assemblies of God. Naomi’s ministry was a blessing to many. She was known as a kind, beautiful, and gracious woman of God. Her sweet, faithful presence touched many lives for Jesus. Naomi is survived by three children, Dr. Garhart David Wolff and wife Dr. Cynthia, of Akron, Iowa, Rebekah Ann Wolff, of Port Townsend, Washington, and Lyndell Dean Wolff and wife Sharon, of Northridge, California; four grandchildren, Dr. Kristin Marie (Evan) W. Engle, of Omaha, Nebraska, Matthew Benjamin (Alexa) Wolff, of Balboa Lake, California, Anastasia Hope (Brady) Bleess, of Minnesota, and Anya Joy (Eston) Adamson, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and six great-grandchildren, Charlotte Josephine W. Engle, Eleanor Margaret W. Engle, Samuel Banks Wolff, August Elliott Wolff, Amelia Justice Wolff, and Tobias Graham Bleess. Her great-grandson, Graham Evan W. Engle, preceded her in death. Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be having a public memorial at this time. There will be no public viewing.
