On Monday, June 8, 2020, Pearl Sayer, age 86, passed away peacefully in her long time home of 40 plus years. Pearl had courageously been fighting Cancer for the last year and in recent days been in home hospice. A long-time resident of Port Hadlock, Washington, Pearl was married to the love of her life, Leonard “Bud” Sayer. Bud died on September 7, 2015. Pearl had 6 children, her 3rd born child, Ronnie Wilder, moved to the Hadlock area to care for her Mother and Father in 2007, and had lovingly cared for her mother up until the day the Lord called her home to be him and her life partner Bud. Pearl left this earth with 1 Grandchild and 4 GreatGrand children that adored her, Royleea Love 45, Tess Hayden 29, Malique Noel 24, Jordan Noel 19, and the youngest her sweet Great Grandson Cameron Browning 10. Pearl had many People that loved her. She proudly worked cleaning the Port Hadlock library where she retired in the last few years of her life. She leaves behind many friends and family members in Washington, Wyoming and Idaho. She was a Master Quilter and many beds all over the United States are adorned with her beautiful creations. One of her most proud creations, a Bicentennial Quilt, adorns the White House. She enjoyed sewing and quilting and all of her Afghans will continue to warm hearts and bodies for many year to come. Pearl is survived by her children, Rose Marie Balentine, Ricky Kay Kuhn , Robert Balintine, Diana Ely. A son, Raymond Sayer, preceded her in death. She will be dearly missed.
