Ron Hoffman passed away February 7th, 2021 of cancer and a heart attack. Ronald Edward Hoffman was born in Bremerton, Washington on July 28th, 1960 to Wayne Eugene and Elizabeth Alma (Rutherford) Hoffman. The family moved to Brinnon in 1962. Ron attended first through eighth grade in Brinnon, then attended grades ninth through twelfth in Quilcene, where he graduated. Ron enjoyed playing basketball in high school. After graduating, Ron joined the Marine Corps. He then moved to Alaska to work as a logger for three years. He moved back home to Brinnon to continue his logging career, and then moved on to Oklahoma to work in the oil wells for two years. After this, he returned home to Brinnon. Ron had many friends, and will be greatly missed by all. He is preceded in death by his father, Wayne. He is survived by his mother, Liz; his brother, Don, nieces Samantha and Kaylani, and nephew Matthew; his brother, Brett and his wife Ashley, his niece Holly and nephew Cody; and several aunts and uncles.
