Shawn Allen Dawson, recently of Port Ludlow, WA, passed away at home on March 8, 2022 at the age of 50. Shawn was born on March 14, 1971 in Robbinsdale, MN. He was raised in Minneapolis where he spent his childhood fishing, boating, hunting and other outdoor activities at his grandparent’s cabin. At the age of 19, he moved to California where he worked various jobs before deciding to pursue his entrepreneurial spirit and started his first company, Janico Building Maintenance. After selling Janico, he turned his interest to technology and created NETFacilities, a facility’s management software company, which he sold in 2018. At the time of his passing, he was developing a second technology software company, ProjectHub, with his son, Andrew. He had many interests outside of the business world. He loved golfing and playing poker with his friends, working on home projects, spending time with his family, friends and his dog, Irving. He was always the life of the party. Shawn leaves behind his wife, Lisa; daughter, Zoe; son, Andrew; sisters Rochelle and Tammy and their husbands; and many nieces and nephews. Shawn (fondly known as Shawnie) will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and a friend to everyone he met.
